Agoura Hills, CA   Young at Art Studios today announced that Diane Demeter, Co-owner and Professional Artist will be leaving the Agoura Hills Young at Art Studios in May of 2006. Demeter has co-owned and operated the Agoura studio for fourteen years and has taught thousands of local students the fundamentals of fine arts. Demeter leaves Young at Art Studios to launch a new winery and art gallery in Templeton, California.

“I am very pleased to announce my successor, Tom Violand as artist-owner of the Agoura Hills Young at Art Studios.” said Demeter. “We searched hard to find a talented successor for the Agoura Hills’ studio who will bring the same kind of quality, care, and passion to the business that we have.”  Violand is a Graphic Designer and Photographer and has been teaching alongside of Demeter for four months now.

Young at Art Studios in Camarillo and Moorpark will continue to be owned and operated by Elois Brett-Kress, Founder and Professional Artist, and Demeter’s business partner of fourteen years.

Young at Art Studios, the missing link in art education, provides hands-on fine arts classes for children and adults. Independently owned by professional artists since 1992, Young at Art Studios’ continues to unleash creativity in adults and children. Join us in Camarillo, Agoura Hills or Moorpark to study fine arts in our ongoing and workshop classes. Enrollment is open for all students.

A Free introductory class is offered to those interested in attending Young at Art Studios.  Studios are open Monday through Saturday by appointment.
